Here are the four outside ventilating pipes used by our system

House ventilation is provided through a separate geo-thermal air exchange system which brings tempered outside air into the house through underground pipes.  The outside air temperature is warmed or cooled by flowing through underground pipes and then through the air exchanger which replicates the temperature of the air inside the house.  The four 8-inch pipes go down 10 feet underground and travel 50 feet to the house where the four pipes blend into one 8-inch pipe before entering the air exchanger.  The system provides fresh air when needed and replaces some ventilating fans.  Air leakage occurs through this tempered system rather than through walls, windows and doors.
