converted to cellulose insulation |
We chose
cellulose
insulation because it has better sound control, has a higher effective R
factor, is fire retardant, controls mold and mildew, controls insects,
controls air leaks and is environmentally friendly. The production
of cellulose insulation saves
energy because traditional Fiberglas insulation requires 40 times more energy
to produce.

Wall
insulation is a dense, firm airtight cake between the wall studs,
while attic insulation is loose and deep to help reduce
heating costs.
